School starts each morning at 9.00am prompt. Children enter school through their classroom external door and not the main entrance.
Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that their children arrive in school on time. We encourage parents and carers to come into the classroom and look at ongoing work, read together for a while and share some of the learning experience before registration.
Children who persistently arrive late without explanation or who miss school without explanation for absence will be referred to the Attendance Improvement Officer.
Education is a partnership and it is important to us that we work together to ensure our children are getting the best chances school life can offer.
School finishes at 3.15pm. Children should be collected from the outside door of their classroom. If you wish to speak with the class teacher please wait until all the children have left the classroom safely. Although we will try to see you straightaway sometimes it may be necessary to make an appointment.
Any child left in school after 3.25pm – without prior arrangement being made - will be taken to wait outside the Head Teacher’s office. If they are still not collected by 3.30pm then a late charge may be applied.
