We regard every individual as special and we seek to meet the needs and requirements of all our children regardless of gender, ethnicity, culture, religion or ability. Our Special Needs Coordinators are qualified teachers with expertise in how children develop.
If you have a concern about your child’s academic progress it is essential that you discuss this with the class teacher so appropriate support can be arranged.
It is important to understand that the Special Educational Needs Register is a flexible document which offers specialist support to children as and when they need it. We all have a duty to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and we like to work in close partnership with parents/carers and other agencies to make this happen.
Our school has two Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators, their details are below:
SENCO (Lower School - Reception to Year 2) - Mrs H Fuller
SENCO (Upper School - Year 3 to Year 6) - Ms G Johnson
